REGULATORY MANAGER

Obstetrics & Gynecology

Weill Cornell Medical College seeks a highly motivated, organized and detail oriented individual, working closely with departmental and central leadership, to develop, implement and maintain regulatory and billing compliance programs in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This includes, managing the department`s billing compliance activities and quality assurance program; respond to changes in internal and external regulation; educate faculty and staff on policies and procedures; develop training programs to ensure compliance with coding and billing; oversee collection of information and analysis of data; prepares quarterly and annual reports on behalf of the department to central administration; maintains departmental QA records and oversee database of individual practitioners and departmental profiles; supervise Accounts Coding Specialist and Compliance Assistant; evaluate and implement research compliance plans; and perform other job related duties as required.

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor`s Degree and CPC; or be a Registered Nurse with a New York State license, CPC eligible and have certification within 1 year of employment; four years experience within medical setting and some management or supervisory experience is required; Master`s degree preferred; and excellent organization and communication skills.
